Math: (3 years required = 3 credits)

R Pre-Algebra (2 semesters) A beginning course for students who need to review and build math skills to prepare for the first course in Algebra. (This course will not count for the high school math requirement for college admission.)
R Algebra 1 (2 semesters) The foundation course of the college preparatory math sequence;
topics include patterns, formulas, unknowns, and graphing.
R Geometry (2 semesters) A study of Euclidian geometry; topics include reasoning and proofs, relationships between points, lines and planes, exploring polygons, surface areas, volume and transformation.
(R – Accelerated) Geometry - Accelerated (1 semester) An intensive course, which covers the full year of Euclidian geometry in one semester.
R Algebra 2 (2 semesters). A second course in algebra; topics include logical reasoning, measurement, probability and statistics, discrete mathematics and functions.
E Pre-Calculus (2 semesters) A transition course between algebra and calculus; topics include functions, graphs and applications, trigonometry, discrete mathematics, data analysis, and an introduction to calculus.
E Calculus (2 semesters) An introductory course in calculus, covering limits, derivatives, anti-derivatives, integrals, and applications.
