Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE)
All applicants are required to take the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) provided by the Educational Records Bureau (ERB), as part of the admission process. Applicants may choose to take the examination at a test center listed in the ISEE Student Guide or at Seattle Lutheran High School on Saturday, November 7, 2009, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon or Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Please have test reports sent to Seattle Lutheran High School. Our school code is 481167. Please enter our code number in section nine of the test registration form, Reports to Schools.
Students who wish to take the admission test at Seattle Lutheran High School may register by mail, by phone, by fax or over the Internet. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Once ISEE has received your registration and test fee, you will receive a Verification Letter confirming receipt of your registration, as well as the date and time of the exam.
Mail • The mail-in registration form is found in the center of the student guide. The registration fee is $89. Please make checks payable to Educational Records Bureau.
Phone • You may register by phone by calling 1-800-446-0320. There is a $20 additional charge for a telephone registration. The phone registration fee is $109, which includes the $89 test fee and the $20 surcharge. Payment must be made by credit card and ERB accepts Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.
Fax • The ISEE Fax Registration Form is found on page 50 of the ISEE Student Guide. There is a $20 additional charge for the fax registration. The fee for the faxed registration is $109, which includes the $89 test fee and the $20 surcharge. Payment must be made by credit card and ERB accepts Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.
On-Line • You may register on-line by visiting the following website at www.iseetest.org. The on-line registration fee is $89, and payment must be made by credit card. ERB accepts Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.
Late Registration • Late registration may occur up to one week after the official registration date closes, two weeks before the test date. Late registrations are accepted by phone, fax or on-line at www.iseetest.org. Payment by credit card is required and the fee is $109, which includes the $89 test fee and a $20 surcharge.
Walk-In Registration • Walk-in registration is available at Seattle Lutheran High School on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost of a walk-in registration fee is $119, which includes the $89 test fee and a $30 surcharge. Payment must be made by check only. Please make checks payable to Educational Records Bureau. You must call Seattle Lutheran High School at least 48 hours prior to the testing date to make sure the necessary testing materials will be available.
