With a song in my heart and a smile on my face, I graduated from SLHS in 1987. Armed with nothing more than my own cunning and an education that can only be found in a Lutheran school, I blazed through the University of Washington earning a BA in Communications and lost the “ly” off my Billy. Since that time I have helped design videos, web sites and marketing materials for many of the largest companies in the world (as well as some very small, but effective, Christian ministries).
Thanks to an alumni drama production in 1990, I was reintroduced to someone who was a hot senior when I was a freshman. Having grown about 7 inches since she last saw me I thought I had a shot. Kim and I have been married since 1992 with 2 great kids, the oldest will be looking to enroll at SLHS in 2009.
It has been my privilege to come back to Seattle Lutheran and give back just a little of what it gave me. |
