Darlene Jevne, Founder and Executive Director of St. Christopher Academy. In 1982 I began my special education school for students in grades K-8 in Kent, WA. In 1985, I was asked by Jack Schuster, principal of Kennedy High School and the Seattle Archdiocese to establish a special education program within Kennedy High School. My program was housed at JFK for the past twenty-four years. I am pleased to have a new home here at Seattle Lutheran High School. I spent twenty-five years on the National Ski Patrol and Mountain Rescue. I also have a summer ranch program for youth in Carey, Idaho. I am the mother of two sons and one grandson. I am proud to be an alum of Washington State University.
