Seattle Lutheran High School Band, led by teacher Thad Franklin, plays at Chapel, community events, school athletic events, and produces two formal concerts annually. Band offers a great opportunity to grow as musicians because the group is small and players get lots of individual attention and help. The ensemble changes each year depending on the musical preferences of players and their instruments.

The Seattle Lutheran High School Band was fortunate to have the opportunity to record a song at Robert Lang Studios. This recording studio is one of the oldest and most well known in Seattle having recorded bands such as Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Macklemore, and Death Cab for Cutie. Our band recorded an original composition by Mr. Franklin called LA, which was composed to spread awareness of teen bullying. The song should be available soon.
