J-term is in full swing and we are excited to have so many positive moments with our young adults. The importance of this passion seeking time is clear every day as I walk the halls and hear the excitement, the guitar playing, the discussion on poverty in our society, and the calm of yoga. All these pieces play a part in building passions in the life of every young adult in the building.
We are not able to make all this happen without our fantastic volunteer teachers, Chris Christensen, Taeya Lauer, Nick Starrett, Joe Bisacca, and Lacey Reuter. These people have joined us for this month to share their passions with our young adults and what an amazing gift this is. I truly believe that this experience was magnified by their passions as they enter the building every day during the month of January. What a blessing!
I personally would like to invite all of you to our J-Term Fair, Friday 1/26 2 pm in the gym, to witness the amazing projects, demonstrations, and art our students have been working on throughout the term. As we all know the community of Seattle Lutheran continues to grow daily, and these people are a prime example of His love living here daily.
