Ben Gomes is a homegrown Seattleite, enjoying cycling and hiking rain or shine. While in graduate school at Fuller Seminary, he attended a Lutheran church where the pastor greatly influenced him toward a Lutheran faith. Now he celebrates having been apart of Lutheran education for a decade. First at Concordia Lutheran School teaching and overseeing the German program and now here at Seattle Lutheran High School facilitating the Online Classes and Languages program, as well as English as a Second Language (ESL). Ben has taught and tutored (in chronological order): Masoretic Hebrew, Classical Latin, German, French, American Sign Language, and Klingon. He humbly claims to add Koine Greek to the list of languages he knows and can use. He has been married to Jessica for 15 years and they have a 4-year-old daughter, Phoenix.
